Seven Years Supporting US AEC Firms
H&M Design Group is a Lahore-based design and technology firm built to serve US architecture, engineering, and construction firms with offshore operations support.
Hassan Asif and Mubbasher spent seven years working with US architecture, engineering, and construction firms before formalizing H&M Design Group in January 2025. They learned the industry from inside US operations: how projects get sold, how plans get coordinated, where the bottlenecks live, and what makes an offshore team actually useful instead of a liability.
What started as production support grew into a full operations offering. US firms came for drafting, then asked for help with their CRM, then asked us to coordinate with their engineers, then asked us to manage their proposal pipeline. We built H&M Design Group to deliver all of it under one roof.
Today H&M operates as a PSEB-registered IT export firm based in Lahore, supporting US AEC firms with sales pipeline management, project coordination, and drafting production. We invoice in USD. We work US business hours. We are built for the US market, by people who run a US business.

The Foundation Years
Hassan and Mubbasher begin building their careers in design production and real estate operations, working with developers and design firms across Pakistan and internationally. Both develop a habit of asking the same question: what would make US firms hire offshore teams as core staff rather than as cheap labor?
First US Client Engagements
Both founders independently begin working with US real estate developers and AEC firms, delivering remote production support and project coordination. The model works. US clients keep coming back, not for the price, but for the responsiveness.
The Partnership Forms
Hassan and Mubbasher formally combine their client books. Operating as a pre-incorporated studio, they take on full project engagements for clients in California, Washington State, Florida, and Texas. The service offering expands from production into full operations support.
A US Business Partnership Forms
Hassan formally partners with a US-based architectural and permit expediting operation, establishing H&M Design Group as the dedicated Pakistan operations partner. The relationship validates the model and opens the door to a growing roster of independent US AEC firms.
H&M Design Group Incorporates
On January 20, 2025, H&M Design Group SMC-Pvt Ltd is formally incorporated in Pakistan. PSEB registration follows within weeks. The firm launches with active engagements across Florida, Texas, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, and Arizona.
Scaling US Operations
H&M Design Group is focused on scaling its US AEC client base. The model is proven. The next phase is volume.
